Job Description
GHX (Global Healthcare Exchange) is a leading healthcare technology company that simplifies healthcare business and improves patient outcomes. Founded in 2000, GHX operates the world’s largest cloud‑based supply chain community, connecting providers, suppliers, and partners to automate key processes, reduce costs, and boost operational efficiency. As a Security Engineer III in Hyderabad, you will safeguard GHX’s infrastructure, design security controls, and collaborate with cross‑functional teams to protect sensitive data.
Roles & Responsibilities
Design and implement robust security controls across GHX’s cloud and on‑premise infrastructure.
Conduct regular vulnerability assessments and penetration tests to identify and remediate risks.
Lead incident response activities, coordinating with cross‑functional teams to contain and mitigate security incidents.
Maintain and update security documentation, policies, and compliance frameworks.
Collaborate with development and operations teams to embed security best practices into CI/CD pipelines.
Requirements
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
Minimum 3 years of experience in security engineering or related roles.
Strong knowledge of network security, firewalls, IDS/IPS, and SIEM technologies.
Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
Experience with cloud security (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and secure architecture design.
Nice to Have
Certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or CEH.
Experience with DevSecOps practices and automated security testing.
Knowledge of healthcare industry regulations like HIPAA and GDPR.
