Trainee Cloud Database Engineer at Rackspace

Design, implement, and maintain cloud databases to support business applications Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve database-related issues Develop and implement database security measures to ensure data integrity Troubleshoot database performance issues and optimize database configuration Stay up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies in cloud database management

Strong understanding of cloud database concepts and cloud-based data management Proficiency in at least one cloud database management system (e.g., Amazon Aurora, Google Cloud SQL) Good programming skills in languages such as Java, Python, or SQL Familiarity with data modeling and database design principles Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills

Knowledge of High Availability (HA) and Disaster Recovery (DR) concepts, RTO, and RPO. Fundamentals of database security, authentication, and authorization.
