Job Description

NK Securities Research, founded in 2011, is a leading financial firm specializing in high‑frequency trading across multiple asset classes. Based in Gurugram, the company leverages cutting‑edge technology and sophisticated algorithms to deliver ultra‑low latency trading solutions. As a Software Developer, you will design, optimize and maintain high‑performance trading systems, develop latency‑critical algorithms, and build robust risk‑management tools, contributing to the firm’s innovative edge.

Roles & Responsibilities

Design, implement and maintain high‑frequency automated trading systems with focus on reliability and scalability. Optimize system performance using advanced network and systems programming techniques. Research and develop low‑latency algorithms to minimize trading latency. Build tools for risk management, system monitoring and performance tracking. Drive automation, testing and quality assurance while minimizing manual processes.

Requirements

Degree in Computer Science, Mathematics or Engineering from a reputed institution. 0‑3 years of experience in software development, preferably in high‑frequency trading or low‑latency systems. Proficiency in C++ (or Java/Python) with strong grasp of algorithms and data structures. Hands‑on experience with Linux/Unix environments and network programming. Understanding of concurrency, multithreading and performance profiling.

Nice to Have

Experience with FPGA or hardware acceleration for trading systems. Familiarity with financial markets, instruments and market microstructure. Knowledge of machine learning techniques applied to trading strategies.
