Job Description
Instawork Robotics Labs (IRL India) is a cutting‑edge startup focused on building AI‑powered robotics solutions. Based in Bengaluru, the team develops Instacore, a 5‑camera + IMU wearable rig that captures real‑world data for training physical AI models. As a Hardware Intern, you’ll maintain and iterate on the fleet, troubleshoot hardware, and deploy units across India and APAC, contributing directly to the growth of the company’s robotics platform.
Roles & Responsibilities
Own uptime for the Instacore fleet.
Ship hardware iterations fast.
Get your hands dirty with sensors, actuators, and soldering.
Travel and deploy hardware hubs across India and APAC.
Debug faults and document fixes.
Requirements
Pursuing or recently completed a B.Tech/B.Sc in Mechanical, Mechatronics, Electronics, Electrical, or Robotics.
Hands‑on experience with workshop tools, soldering, and 3D printing.
Strong problem‑solving skills and ability to troubleshoot hardware.
Experience in building or maintaining robotic hardware (e.g., Robocon, Formula Student).
Familiarity with mechanical and electrical system integration.
Nice to Have
Experience with IMU and camera calibration.
Knowledge of embedded systems and microcontroller programming.
Familiarity with robotics software frameworks (ROS).
