Interview Guide

Focus on mastering SystemVerilog and UVM concepts: be ready to write a small UVM testbench on the spot, explain the hierarchy, and discuss how you achieve functional coverage and constrained random stimulus. Practice debugging simulation failures end‑to‑end, including interpreting waveform data, tracing assertions, and proposing root‑cause fixes. Prepare for scenario‑based verification questions that assess your ability to design verification plans, prioritize test cases, and interface with design engineers. Brush up on scripting (Python/Perl) for automation, and review key ASIC flow stages. Finally, articulate past teamwork experiences and how you handle tight timelines, as behavioral competence is equally valued for this role.
